Love this place. Every Ellijay vacation we come here and get stuff to bring back to our family & friends. Deals everywhere and fair prices overall. Folks that greet ya (and Ricky) will even let you buy stuff if you're a Yankees fan.

We were excited to check this place out because of all the great reviews, and they did have plenty to look at. But we definitely won’t be back. As my husband and I were checking out, a man (who I’m assuming is their version of asset protection) approached my 13 year old very rudely telling him he needed to go pay for a Mountain Dew that he did not have. When I asked what was going on, my son told me he had gotten a Mountain Dew out of the cooler downstairs but decided he didn’t want it, so he sat it down somewhere else in the store. I asked him to get it and put it where it belongs, to which he did. However, this man never acknowledge my husband or myself during the interaction, starred my underage daughter down disgustingly, and then was rude to my son when he brought the drink to him. Do better 🙄

Boy do I love a good antique store, but what I love even more are antique and vintage items that are reasonably priced, and Main Street Antiques perfectly fits those bylines! This is a huge store- several rooms that go back from the front and an upstairs. You could spend some serious time looking through all the knick knacks and treasures in here. As a sports fan, I was extra impressed with the collection here as there was a lot more sports memorabilia then I’ve seen at the average antique shop. If you’re a Celtics fan you’d probably go crazy here (unfortunately I’m not but there was a ridiculous a pint of Celtics items). I was just visiting the area, or else I probably would have snatched up quite a few things. But the issue was there was no easy way to transport them back whole flying in an airplane. Unfortunately, I can’t give 5 stars because there was a weird interaction with one of the workers where I believe she was being racist/ profiling my friend while we were waiting in line to pay and it really soured the end of our experience.
