This is a charming, small town museum with a big personality. Exhibits provide unique information on NORTH Georgia’s landscape, Native American history, and local culture. There is a children’s section featuring native wildlife info with hands-on learning that is fun for everyone. The section on moonshining was fascinating and my personal favorite offering a glimpse into a part of mountain culture that’s not often talked about. It also has a unique military section providing interesting facts not typically seen anywhere else. It’s a perfect afternoon outing.
